A few weeks ago, I drove down to San Diego to have lunch with my cousin and her lovely wife. We shared a gorgeous meal at Thai Time North Park. The three of us had the Crispy Pork Belly, Laab, Pad Kra Prao, Panang Curry, and Pad Se Lew - all super delicious, and there was plenty left over for another meal! The floral background on this drawing is modeled after the pattern on Thai Time's tablecloths, which were so colorful and fun that I had to include it somehow. Their spacious dining room was lively and adorned with disco ball accents - totally my kind of place, and I wanted to bring some of that energy into this illustration.
