Taira Sushi in Garden Grove is the type of restaurant that one may want to gatekeep for themselves, but absolutely should not, because everyone should experience the excellent sushi and hospitality from Chef Ben and Chef Ayako.
One glance at their beautifully calligraphed menu is a gateway into a wonderful culinary adventure - Start with the Simmered Beef Tongue, dive head-first into the 12 piece Omakase, and don't forget to try one or two of the desserts, such as the Roasted Brown Tea Pudding which was a very lightly sweet and perfect end to the meal.
