Somewhere just between a bustling avenue and The 5 freeway (and one very quick turn through a church parking lot) is a small but mighty restaurant serving some of the best birria in Southern California.
Head over to Tacos Birria Estilo Guadalajara for a plate of three perfectly spicy quesabirria tacos. The double tortillas are housemade and crispy on the outside - A perfect vehicle to carry the stewed birria meat into your mouth. Be sure to top off these tacos with a generous sprinkle of cilantro, diced onion, and several squeezes of freshly sliced lime. I usually request a cup of hot consomé for dipping, but the birria was already super flavorful and juicy on its own!
