On one very rainy LA day, my husband and I stopped in at Sushi Tomoki for a lunch date. Even though we forgot our umbrellas and both walked in soggy from the rain, their lovely server welcomed us warmly and seated us immediately at the sushi bar, kindly offering some paper towels to blot ourselves off with. We began our meal with an order of Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice (excellent) and continued on with their omakase sushi menu, which included a sampling of sashimi, 10 exquisite pieces of nigiri, and a bowl of miso soup to end the experience with.
