Some places leave a mark long after they’re gone.
Plan Check on Sawtelle was one of those for me… equal parts comfort, great energy, and really good food. So many of my happy hours there turned into entire evenings on Sawtelle, anchored by great burgers (PCB for me, Chef’s Favorite for my husband), a solid beer list, and that Southern Fry chicken sandwich with the duck ham… Also, who could forget the sweet potato fries and peach ketchup?
