My memories of Cholada Thai Cuisine are countless and all delicious.
There were few things better than enjoying a full day of sun and swimming at the beach with friends and then pulling up to Cholada's cozy space on PCH with flecks of sand still in between my toes to enjoy a Thai food feast for early dinner just before sunset.
Meals at Cholada always opened with the Golden Bags appetizer (crispy wontons filled with ground chicken and shrimp served with sweet chili sauce) and led into main dishes of Curry Powder Fried Rice (stir fried rice with pineapple, cashew, garlic, onion and yellow curry powder), Chinese Broccoli With Crispy Pork (fresh green Thai broccoli stir fried with garlic and crispy pork), and Panang Curry (red curry with coconut milk, pea carrot, zucchini, serrano and bell pepper). If it's in season, the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert was unbeatable.
I can't wait to wrap up the perfect Malibu beach day at Cholada again soon.
