Augie’s of Santa Barbara - I sipped my way through an afternoon in Santa Barbara at Augie's a few weeks ago and it was fabulous. If you’re a fellow tequila lover, the tequila library at Augie’s of Santa Barbara is the place to be. Rows upon rows of gorgeous glass bottles, each with their own story. Tequila for me is not so much about cocktails but more about a slow sipping experience. If you’re new to tequila, ask your favorite bartender for a few additive-free recommendations, and have a small pour, neat, in a stemmed glass. I could talk about it all day and have a long list of tequila suggestions if you ever need one! During my visit, I got to enjoy a glass of Tequila Arte NOM Seleccion 1414, a reposado with a little hint of citrus that has been on my list of tequilas to try for quite some time. Excellent!
